Russia says prepares catering, small hotel support measures
MOSCOW, Jun 3 (PRIME) -- The Russian Economic Development Ministry will prepare possible additional measures of support to the catering industry and small hotels, a spokesperson for First Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Belousov told reporters on Wednesday.
"Russia's Industry and Trade Ministry will prepare measures of additional support of the catering industry. The possibilities for help will be discussed at a separate meeting," the official said.
"The Federal Tourism Service under supervision of the Economic Development Ministry will prepare mechanisms of such support in a week.’"
Large hotel chains said that they did not need any support, the official said.
The owners of cafes, hotels, cinemas and fitness centers will not have to pay fines in case of detection of COVID-19 outbreaks during relaunch, but their facilities will be quarantined.
